6月13日下午，我校的几名老师和学生代表南通崇川外国语学校走进了一所特别的学校，走近了一个可爱的群体。我们给特殊教育中心的孩子们送去了洗手液、纸巾等3700元生活物资，以及现金4000元，共计7700元。
On the afternoon of June 13, several teachers and students representing Nantong Chongchuan Foreign Language School came to a special school again. We brought 3,000 yuan of daily necessities including hand sanitizer, tissues, shampoo, etc, as well as 4,000 yuan in cash to the children in Nantong special education center.
对于我校师生的到来，这群孩子们显得格外兴奋，他们用自己的才艺——葫芦丝演奏表达了对我们的热烈欢迎。
The lovely students were very happy to meet the teachers and students of our school. They showed their talent through cucurbit flute performance, and expressed a warm welcome to us.
我校同学也被这些孩子的活泼热情、积极向上所感染，两校学生开始沟通交流起来。他们教我们学习盲文，大方的展示自己的手工课成果。我校同学们津津有味地听着、用心感受着，每个人脸上都写满了快乐和感动。
Our students were also affected by the enthusiasm of these children, and each of them was confident, enthusiastic and brave. we began to communicate a lot with each other. They showed us the braille writing, and their handwork. The students in our school felt it with their hearts, and everyone's face was full of happiness.
这次活动对于两校的孩子来说都是一个难忘的体验，也能让我校的学生更加热爱和珍惜自己的学习生活。因为爱，我们相遇，让我们携手同行，点亮希望。
The donation activity is an unforgettable experience for the students of NTFLS and Nantong Special Education Centre. Because of love, we meet. Let us walk hand in hand, and light up the hope together.
学生心得体会
6月13日是很有特殊意义的一天，我再一次来到了南通特殊教育中心，去聆听他们的故事，给孩子们带去温暖。因为他们的残疾，使得我对他们产生了同情心理，此刻我的心情是沉重的！
但是，当我与他们接触时发现，我之前的忧虑是多余的。孩子们是如此活泼、热情，看到我们还热烈的欢迎!他们是一群自信的孩子，当我们问他们一些问题时，他们总是落落大方并声音洪亮的回答我们；他们是一群勤劳的孩子，从一年级开始，老师就教会他们如何扫地、洗衣服等。再看看自己，一年级时还是那个要妈妈帮忙穿衣服，甚至赖床的不懂事小孩儿，想到这里，我心里顿时有些惭愧；他们是一群积极向上的孩子，他们中的许多人都曾获得“江苏好少年”“江苏新时代好青年”的称号。不仅如此，他们还会去参加一些比赛，而比赛对手都是正常的孩子，可想而知他们有多么的厉害。其中有个让我印象非常深刻的女孩子，她的钢琴十级，这也许是普通孩子都坚持不下去的吧，可是她做到了！但在这背后她又付出了普通孩子几倍的努力呢！作为一个双眼都失明的少女她不能去看到优美的五线谱，只能凭着记忆去把所有的都背下来……就在那时，我感受到，其实上帝是不公平的，它或许承受着生理上的残缺，但是它却给了孩子们最纯洁最炽热的心。他们并不比其他孩子弱，他们坚强、勇敢、乐观、自信!小小年纪能独立生活，这是很多正常孩子都做不到的，其实他们很棒!
和孩子们在一起，我觉得很快乐。他们的单纯善良感染着我，他们需要社会的关爱。但是仅仅物质上的帮助是远远不够的，他们更多的是需要我们对他们发自内心的关怀。给他们快乐，教他们知识，让他们感受生活的温暖、人性的善良以及帮助他们找到生存之道，那才是最重要的。既然上帝将他们的一扇窗关闭了，希望社会各界都来为他们开启另一扇窗，让他们真实感受到世界的美好。最后，深深地祝福他们!
I returned to the Nantong Important Education Centre on June 13, a very special day, to provide warmth to the children and listen to their experiences. I felt a feeling of pity for them because of their limitations! My heart was pounding!
When I met them, though, I discovered that my earlier concerns were unfounded. When the kids spotted us, they were very animated and happy, and they greeted us with open arms! When we ask them questions, they are a confident set of kids who always respond nicely and loudly. They are a dedicated group of students who have been taught how to sweep the floor, do laundry, and other household chores by their teachers since Grade 1. Many of them have been named "Good Youth of Jiangsu" and "Good Youth of Jiangsu New Era," and they compete in tournaments against regular kids, so you can understand how talented they are. One of the other girls that impressed me had a grade 10 piano, which is surely something that no average youngster could keep up with! But she accomplished it, but how much more work did she put in than I did? She couldn't see the lovely five-line score as a little blind girl, so she had to memorize it all from memory......It was then that I felt that God was in fact unfair, it may have borne the physical handicap, but it gave the children the purest and most fiery hearts. They are not weaker than other children, they are strong, brave, optimistic and confident! They are strong, brave, optimistic and confident! They are able to live independently at a young age, which many normal children cannot do. In fact they are great!
I'm overjoyed with the kids. Their simplicity and kindness have infected me, and they require society's assistance. However, material assistance is insufficient. More than that, kids now require our undivided attention! What matters most is to provide them joy, to teach them information, to allow them to feel the warmth of life and the goodness of people, and to help them find a way to live. I'm hoping that the community will open another doorway for them now that God has closed one. Allow them to genuinely appreciate the wonders of the world! Deeply bless them!
