The Student Council, as an indispensable part of a school, always plays the role of a bridge connecting the school with students.
At the beginning of this semester, NTFLS held the new Student Council elections. Seventeen students were finally selected and the new Student Council was successfully established through students' excellent speech contests.
校电视台：NTFLS STUDIO已成功组建了一年，今年又新加入了几位擅长摄影、电脑软件，善于制作各类音频视频的优秀同学。
The NTFLS Campus Radio Station has been established for one year. And this year, we have several more excellent students joining NTFLS STUDIO who are skilled in photography, computer software and audio and video production.
9月15日清晨，学校向大家宣布了新一届学生会成员和电视台成员的任命，并对他们进行了受聘仪式。
In the morning of September 15th, NTFLS announced the appointment of the new members of the Student Council and the NTFLS STUDIO, and held an appointment ceremony for them.
为提高学生会成员的责任意识和综合素质，Kevin校长开展了本学期学生会的工作会议，他提出：学生会成员要胸怀崇高理想，恪守学生本分，牢记服务宗旨，以更高的标准要求自己，守纪律、讲原则、作表率。他希望大家勤于思考、互相沟通、共同配合，将纸上的内容落实到实处，着手实施自己制定的计划。
In order to improve the sense of responsibility and comprehensive quality of every member of the Student Council, President Kevin held the first meeting of the Student Council for this new semester. Kevin encouraged that the members of the Student Council should have lofty ideals, abide by the duty of students, keep in mind the purpose of service, and demand themselves with higher standards. Besides, we should set good examples for other students. Kevin also hoped that everyone would be diligent in thinking, communicating with each other and working together to implement the content into practice and carry out the plans involving students management as soon as possible.
随后，学生处主任Esther老师针对每个部门进行了具体性的工作布置，她表示学校会支持和帮助学生会的工作。希望学生会能协助学校开展有益于同学身心健康的文体活动，积极创造良好的学风，维护学校良好的教学秩序。
Then, Esther, the director of the Student Affairs, gave a specific work arrangement for each department of the Student Council. Esther said that the school would always support and help the Student Council. And she hoped the Student Council could help the school to carry out all kinds of activities which are beneficial to students' physical and mental health, creating a good learning environment and maintaining the good teaching order of the school.
如果说学生会是学校的重要纽带，那么国旗班则肩负着培养学生爱国主义思想和树立他们坚定的信念的伟大使命。我校今年组建第二届国旗班，经过选拔和考核，最终有15名学生加入其中，担任起这份神圣的职责。学校也于今日对他们进行了受聘仪式。
The National Flag class of NTFLS shoulders the great mission of cultivating students' patriotism and establishing their firm belief. After the strict selection and assessment, fifteen students joined the National Flag class this semester, and they would take the responsibility of raising and guarding the national flag.
新的风帆即将扬起，相信新一届学生会和国旗班的同学们会继续秉承踏实细致的工作作风，会用实际行动证明他们的实力。
