我中心本学期开始，根据每位学生的加分情况，在每学期评选出“明星学生”以及每月评选出“每月之星”：每学年加分满30分及以上者，将获得“明星学生”称号，学校为其颁发荣誉证书和奖杯；每月根据本月累计加分情况，评出“每月之星”，全年级通知表扬，以做榜样。
12月的“每月之星”评选已经结束，获得十二月“每月之星”的是来自IGCSE-2班的蔡欣宇同学，让我们来看看他的风采吧。
蔡欣宇同学性格沉稳内敛，率真诚实，在学校及班级组织的各项活动中都能积极参与并力争好成绩。先后在校经典诵读比赛及班级合唱表演中担任领诵及领唱。他学习努力认真，在学习过程中也会碰到各种各样的困难，但他一直保持着平和的心态，一步步坚持朝向自己的每一个小目标，不迟疑、不回头，在他的坚持和努力下，无论是学习成绩还是一日常规都是班级的佼佼者。“哪怕是最没有希望的事情，只要投入兴趣与热情坚持去做，你就会成功。”正是因为有了这样的热情和坚持，蔡欣宇才能在众多优秀学生中脱颖而出成为本月之星。

I deem it a great honor to be the star of this month. Here I would like to appreciate my teachers and classmates who trust me and render me the opportunity to the honor. Without their encouragement and help, I won’t be the “Monthly Star”.
It is especially fortunate for me to study at CIE, not only because it teaches me a lot and shows a new world to me, but also it enable me to meet so many excellent teachers and funny classmates. I will treasure these.
I like reading, especially science fiction, I enjoy listening to music, and I think mastering a musical instrument is important, so I am practicing guitar these days. I try to become a man of high moral standards, because it is a key factor to be the “Monthly Star”. One of the most exciting thing that I have done in December was be a leading chorus in our Christmas Party, and I also took part in the school’s “Art Festival” singing a French song with my classmate. All these are my fantastic experiences.
I study hard. I think the lessons I learnt here are very interesting and novel, so I never feel bored. There are still lots of things that I should do better, so I will keep going and improving myself to a new and high level.
