本月的“每月之星”评选已经结束，获得十月份“每月之星”的是来自IGCSE-2班的孙布雷同学。孙布雷同学在10月19日举行的校运会中参加了三项比赛，最终在男子个人400米中获得金牌、男子个人1000米中获得银牌；孙布雷同学还在江苏省青少年网球锦标赛中获得了双打第五名的好成绩；同时，他在十月份的学习中踏实努力，常规检查中没有任何扣分。
综合各项考核标准，最终孙布雷同学在众多申请者中脱颖而出，荣获本月“每月之星”的荣誉称号。
获奖感言：
It is my great honour to be awarded the best student of this month. I am very excited because this is a kind of affirmation to my study and performance. I will express my sincere thanks to my teachers and classmates.
I feel lucky to be able to study at our school. It is just like a big and warm family. As a student, I love learning. I study hard and treat each lesson and exam carefully. As a young boy, I love sports. I enjoy sports. I played tennis for years and was awarded national second-grade athlete. I also won one gold medal and one silver medal in the autumn sports meeting of our school. As the commissary in charge of labour in our class, I am very glad to be a good assistant for our teacher. Learning brings happiness; sports bring happiness and work brings happiness too.
This honour is also a kind of inspiration and encouragement to me. I will try my best to make greater progress in future.
